Report on Music Therapy

I choose this topic because I interested in music therapy and how can we heal people using music as therapy? That's the thing I want to know and learn more about, is it possible to help people that are sick by playing music? Music is a great thing because music is enjoyable, it can calm people down it can help bring creativity to people and it can be played individually and also can be played as a group. We as the player is enjoying playing and also the audience enjoy listening and also the song that we are playing
can help people to relax, feel good, and be happy about them self. This week I started my research fin an article about music therapy. next I summarized the article using my own word and and dictionary to fin new vocabulary I then put my summarized into a report and make the worksheet below.

Music Therapy

Using Music Therapy is the clinical and evidence-based use of music interventions to accomplish individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship by a credentialed professional who has completed an approved music therapy program.

Music therapy helps to:

  • promote wellness
  • manage stress
  • alleviate pain
  • express feelings
  • enhance memory
  • improve communication
  • promote physical rehabilitation.

Researchers in music therapy support its effectiveness in a wide variety of health care and educational settings

  • Music and Physical Relaxation: Music can promote relaxation of tense muscles, enabling you to easily release some of the tension you carry from a stressful day (or week).
  • Music has always been a great healer. In the Bible, we learn about how David played the harp to help ease his severe depression of King Saul .
  • Music is a significant mood-changer and reliever of stress, working on many levels at once.
  • Music was found to reduce the pain during dental procedures.
  • Playing music in the background while we are working, seemingly unaware of the music itself, has been found to reduce the stress.
  • Playing music in the background while we were sleeping also help to relax our brain
  • Other Benefits: Music has also been found to bring many other benefit such as lowering blood pressure, boost immunity, ease muscle tension, and many more. With so many benefits and such profound physical effects, it’s no surprise that so many are seeing music as an important tool to help the body in staying (or becoming) healthy

What is a Learning Style?

To put it simply, your learning style is the way you tend to learn best. It involves your preferred method of taking in, organizing, and making sense of information.

Learning styles do not tell us about a person's abilities or intelligence, but they can help us understand why some tasks seem easier for us than others.

There are several benefits of thinking about and trying to understand your learning preferences:
  • people learn most effectively when the strategies used are closely matched with their preferred learning style
  • sometimes we can improve our learning by knowing what our strengths are and then doing more of what we're good at
  • often we can improve our learning by knowing what our weaknesses are and trying to enhance our skills in these areas
  • different situations and learning environments require different learning strategies, so it's best to have a large repertoire from which to draw
Now click on the link below to discover your learning style:

Japan

WHEN, according to Prime Minister Naoto Kan, was the last crisis of this magnitude in Japan?
The prime minister called it Japan’s worst crisis since World War II.The disaster has left more than 10,000 people dead, many thousands homeless and millions without water, power, heat or transportation. the other think is at the end many people die because of the nuclear bomb by the US and so many people are dead, and some of the survivor get invected by the radiation from the nuclear for the pregnant women they baby became weird and also they city was completely vanish so they have to rebuilt this two big city Hiroshima and Nagasaki

The Japanese government ordered 100,000 troops to take part in the relief effort. An American naval strike group also arrived off Japan on Sunday to help with refueling, supply and rescue duties. The government put so many troops to help the situation so it will not get out of control and to make the less damage and that;s not the only think that happen, the Search teams from more than a dozen nations were bound for Japan, including a unit from New Zealand, which suffered a devastating quake last month in Christchurch. A Japanese team that had been working in New Zealand was called home to help. All About Blooms

I think Johny is the heroic because he can handle himself well, he also save children in the burning house, and sacrifice himself. Even when he almost die he also write a letter to pony and give him advice to help pony. he kill someone to save his friends.
In one of the scene in the movie Outsider, The night when socs come to the park and look for trouble, If I were pony i was choosing to run, when they came out of the car, if that happen no one will be in trouble.

Pony:
-short light brown hair
-average guy
-greenish aye
-kind, like to help people that in trouble, nice to everyone, look everyone in the same perspective, like to fight, care about family, like to watch sunset, like to smoke, can;t kill someone.

If I can spent a day with one of the character in Outsider i will choose Johny or Pony, because they were kind and they were different from the other.

If I could make a new title I would make it into Social life diary
